Jeter & I are enjoying the view this morning. There's about 6 inches of fresh snow and everything looks so clean and beautiful.I had gotten so I hated snow. Despised it. But that's because for 29+ years I had a job that either required me, or someone I was responsible for, to go in all types of weather, (often with a youngster in tow). The mere mention of foul weather would put me in an equally foul mood.
But after 4 years of retirement and working for myself out of the home, I have learned to revel in these conditions. I've learned to relax and enjoy the confinement and the solitude of these events. We've got nowhere in particular to go... some fun treats to eat... and a beautiful view to enjoy... so what the heck! Let it SNOW!!
My view is similar, even down to the room and the cat. Although I don't think any of our cats are as large as Jeter. :-)
