Finishing Touches

So I looked at my 6 "display quality" Carolina CarryAll samples, and while I liked them all, only two were of high enough caliber to represent the design on the floor of the Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis in a few weeks. Let's face it, the Market floor is a visually competitive place and in order to grab the attention of buyers, one needs samples that aren't just pretty, but are showstoppers!  So...I knew I had to make another sample.

I checked my stash... and found nothing that inspired me. I shopped our local stores and nothing grabbed me. I was starting to feel another emergency run to Mary Jo's coming on, but found myself absently checking a few internet fabric stores, and lo and behold, I saw it... a fabulous African print on the Material Girls website. And from the very second I saw it, I knew it was perfect!

All it took was a little creative placement, under the watchful scrutiny my loyal assistant (of course), and a few hours later I had what I am pretty sure will be a very eye-catching addition to my booth display in Minneapolis. Could you walk by this beauty without stopping for a closer look?

So there you have it. With this last sample, we're ready to officially close the books on the Carolina CarryAll, which also means... we've uploaded all of the appropriate web pages and... our new pattern is now available, just in case you're interested in getting it prior to the official release on May 5th.
