Interior Options

An Encore Insert is organizing this interior.
We're very close to the general release of the new bag on the block, the Carolina CarryAll, and MANY of you have been asking for some interior shots.
So today, I had a little time while I was waiting for a fax, so I cracked out the camera and took a few pictures.
I didn't add a ton of features to the inside area, as I feel the most effective way to organize a bag of this size is with a Purse Insert. (The Encore fits perfectly!)

This is a new way to attach the mag snap. I like it a lot!
Of all the ways I've attached mag snaps to hand bags, this particular method is probably my favorite! It functions very easily, it's very easy to sew in place, AND the design itself actually aids in keeping purse contents in place, even in the event of a "tip-over".
LOOK what's hidden BETWEEN the exterior layers... A secret pocket!
But here's the Carolina CarryAll's best feature! There are TWO very roomy Secret Pockets (one on front of the bag, and one on the back) hidden between the exterior layers. These pockets can easily acomodate those items you want to have quick access to... like your keys, your phone, or in my case... a few pictures of that grandbaby! :) The Secret Pockets are spacious and deep enough that the very curvature of the exterior acts to secure your items from inadvertently tumbling out. I've carried this bag for some time now, and my cell phone has never fallen out on its own, even when my bag's gotten dumped off the seat of the car, or when the cat pushes it off the table, (does anyone else's cats like to push things off tables? It drives me nuts!).
Just this morning, we released this pattern to our various distributors and many retail stores. Feel free to ask for it by name at your favorite independent quilt/fabric store. In keeping with the 'staggered' release that's worked so well for us the last few patterns, the Carolina CarryAll will most likely be available on our website sometime next week.

  1. Thanks for the interior shots. My brain's been buzzing with ideas for this pattern. I'm so looking forward to making this pattern and the Encore insert!!!

  2. Cats are scientific. When they knock things off tables, they're really empirically verifying the law of gravity! They just want to be sure that it hasn't been repealed.
