Our Spring Look

We had a PRIMO booth location this time!
So here's the way our booth looked at the opening bell of the Spring Quilt Market, and can I just say, I really think we had the BEST booth location in the house, right at the FRONT DOOR! (Don't ask me how that happened, but it sure was fun!)

We really didn't change too much about our booth this spring, but we did try one new thing...
I think the staggered height of the bag 'faces' add interest.

It's hard to capture exactly how HUGE Market is. This is a side to side view.
I remember last fall, that one of you readers, (was it you?), because I regret that I do not know who suggested that we try staggering the 'face' height of our bags, to provide a more interesting & compelling arrangement. We decided to try doing that that this time & I honestly think it is an improvement. But what do you think? (Click here to compare this look with the display we had in Houston last fall, and if you care to share your opinion, please feel free to do so below.)

As usual, the Market floor looked spectacular on opening day. The fabrics were prettier than ever and there were some new and exciting vendors present. Stay tuned, because I intend to highlight a few in upcoming posts.

But in the meantime, check out the sheer size of this room. This picture above shows the breadth of the hall, from sidewall to sidewall. Seems like I counted 19 rows in all...

And this is the view from the back of the room to the front door.
I was standing  at the back of the room when I snapped this picture, looking forward to the front door where my booth was conveniently placed. If you REALLY strain your eyes, you can just make out the purple cat on my booth's side banner, which hangs out into the aisle,,, or is that wishful vision?

And just for fun, here's two fun things you might enjoy. First, a fun little video the Quilt Show posted about my new favorite restaurant in Minneapolis, Brit's Pub. And second, a wonderful slide show detailing many of the highlights of beautiful Minneapolis. Till next time, enjoy!
