Do NOT forget to thank the folks who quietly serve you on a regular basis. (The mailperson... your garbageman... the newspaperboy...your hairdresser...)

A big mug with packets of hot chocolate tucked inside
A gift card to a restaurant
Gift card to a coffee shop
Pair of warm socks
Anything chocolate. Who can resist this?
even a nice thank you letter would be very much appreciated!







Even a simple note of sincere appreciation can really be a HUGE encouragement to a public servant at this time of the year.
