Sometimes there are other "special displays" at Quilt Market, over and above the fabulous quilts and clothing. This year, my buddies at Pin Peddlers celebrated 25 years in business with a pin collection contest,
and can I just say....
and can I just say....
I Had NO IDEA!
First off- I had no idea people had collections that were THIS extensive,
and secondly...
I had no clue that the displays for these collections would be
SO beautiful and SO elaborate!
Here's a few of my favorites!
Here's a few of my favorites!
Like this gorgeous header...
or this absolutely stunning vest....
and I am CRAZY about this ingenious presentation...
and this display, which was composed of strictly NASA pins,
was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD!
If I was the one that had to decide which collection was the best,
I'm just not sure which I would have chosen!
So... Which one would YOU have chosen?

And thanks to Pin Peddlers!
I know I wasn't the only one
who really loved seeing all of these collections!

Thanks for putting a picture of my quilt pin wall hanging (the 1st one) on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI had a great time making this mosaic banner and connecting the little "pin pillows" with safety pin to organize and document my pin collection.
I had NO IDEA I had so many either till I got them all together to make this for the Pin Peddler's 25th Anniversary Challenge.
I was honored to have my work displayed at the IQA Houston Quilt Market and Show for soooo many quilters to see - what fun!
thanks again

I loved seeing these displays Charlotte. It made me come home and dig all of MY pins out. Putting them in a display like this is such a neat way to be able to enjoy them and I had never thought of this until I saw all of these.
ReplyDeleteI found them VERY inspiring! :)
