Every Pin Tells a Story

Sometimes there are other "special displays" at Quilt Market, over and above the fabulous quilts and clothing. This year, my buddies at Pin Peddlers celebrated 25 years in business with a pin collection contest,
and can I just say....

I Had NO IDEA!

First off- I had no idea people had collections that were THIS extensive,
and secondly...
I had no clue that the displays for these collections would be
SO beautiful and SO elaborate!

Here's a few of my favorites!

Like this gorgeous header...

or this absolutely stunning vest....

and I am CRAZY about this ingenious presentation...

and this display, which was composed of strictly NASA pins,
was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD!

If I was the one that had to decide which collection was the best,
I'm just not sure which I would have chosen!
So... Which one would YOU have chosen?

Here's Audrey & Tom Brendle of Pin Peddlers (GREAT neighbors)
working hard in their booth
And thanks to Pin Peddlers!
I know I wasn't the only one
who really loved seeing all of these collections!

  2. Thanks for putting a picture of my quilt pin wall hanging (the 1st one) on your blog.

I had a great time making this mosaic banner and connecting the little "pin pillows" with safety pin to organize and document my pin collection.

I had NO IDEA I had so many either till I got them all together to make this for the Pin Peddler's 25th Anniversary Challenge.
I was honored to have my work displayed at the IQA Houston Quilt Market and Show for soooo many quilters to see - what fun!

    thanks again

  3. I loved seeing these displays Charlotte. It made me come home and dig all of MY pins out. Putting them in a display like this is such a neat way to be able to enjoy them and I had never thought of this until I saw all of these.
I found them VERY inspiring! :)
